By accessing or purchasing from Takumi Edge Co. (this "site"), you agree to these terms. Please read them before placing an order.

Who We Are

Takumi Edge Co. is an Australian-based retailer of premium Japanese-profile kitchen knives. Our store operates at takumiedgeco.com. For enquiries: support@takumiedgeco.com.

Orders and Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel orders where pricing is clearly incorrect due to a technical error. You will be notified and fully refunded in this case.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud or prohibited use.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards, Afterpay, and other payment methods listed at checkout. Payment is processed securely via Shopify Payments. Your card is charged at the time of order placement.

Product Information

We make every effort to display product images and descriptions accurately. Slight variations in colour between images and physical products may occur due to screen calibration and photographic lighting. These variations do not constitute a defect.

Knife Safety

Takumi Edge Co. knives are sold for domestic kitchen use only. By purchasing, you confirm you are 18 years of age or older. You are responsible for safe handling, storage, and use. We accept no liability for injury arising from improper use.

Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including photography, copy, brand marks, and design — is the property of Takumi Edge Co. and may not be reproduced, redistributed, or used commercially without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Takumi Edge Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or site. Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot be excluded.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
