These terms govern your use of takumiedgeco.com and any purchases made through our site. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Who we are

Takumi Edge Co. operates takumiedgeco.com and sells kitchen knives to customers across Australia.

Orders and payment

All orders are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, in which case we'll notify you and issue a full refund. Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Takumi Edge Co. is not currently registered for GST and does not charge GST. We accept all major credit and debit cards and any other payment methods listed at checkout.

Pricing

Prices may change without notice. The price you pay is the price shown at the time of checkout. Promotional pricing applies for the duration of the promotion only.

Product descriptions

We make every effort to display our products accurately. Images are for illustration and may vary slightly from the physical product. Specifications — steel grade, hardness rating, blade angle, dimensions — are provided in good faith based on manufacturer data.

Shipping

Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by Australia Post or events outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon dispatch. See our Shipping & Delivery page for full details.

Returns

Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges policy and the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of our products or site is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, images, and branding — is the property of Takumi Edge Co. or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use it without written permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
